Requesting Transcripts
All transcript requests must be made through SchooLinks. In SchooLinks, students will be able to request transcripts and recommendation letters for college applications and scholarship opportunities.

We will begin processing transcript requests on September 2. Please ensure your senior year schedule is finalized by Friday, August 29, to ensure accurate records are submitted to colleges.

Application Fee Waivers: If you have financial barriers and need assistance with application fees, waivers might be available for students who qualify for meal benefits.  To see if you are eligible, fill out the district application here.

GRADUATION

Confirm you are on track with your graduation requirements.  Use the Academic Plan Progress Report in Infinite Campus to view the status of your credits and required assessments (EOC exams, MO & US Constitution, American Civics).  Connect with your comprehensive counselor if you have any questions or concerns.

FINANCIAL AID

Tips & Timeline for FAFSA Filing
Financial Aid 101 & FAFSA Presentations
Financial Aid

Scholarship Sites:
 * SchooLinks - log in with Google, then go to College - Scholarship Match
 * My Scholarship Central - St. Louis Metro Database
 * Going Merry - National Database
 * Missouri A+ Scholarship Program (sign up by Feb 1 of senior year)
* Colleges offering Automatic Out-of-State Scholarship Opportunities - this list provides some popular examples of larger out-of-state public schools that offer non-resident scholarships.  *Remember that you are starting with nonresident tuition rates, which are often double the rates for in-state students.

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Regardless of your current financial status, we encourage all families to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The FAFSA is also required for students planning to use the Missouri A+ Scholarship.

Below are the steps to take for filing your FAFSA:
     1) NowCreate your FSA ID here. The student and any contributors (ie parent(s), spouse of parent) will need FSA IDs (username/password for the FAFSA).  Verification of your account could take 1-3 days, so plan accordingly.
     2) Starting October 1Create your 2026-27 FAFSA here.  The form should take less than one hour to complete.  Be sure to list the city of your high school as "Chesterfield" and then select "Central High".

**Note: if seniors plan to take classes the summer after graduation, they will also need to file a 2025-26 FAFSA to access federal/state funding (including use of the A+ scholarship).

CSS Profile
The CSS Profile is an online application used by colleges and scholarship programs to award non-federal institutional aid. Check your colleges’ information to determine whether they require the CSS Profile. A list of participating schools is available online here

POST-SECONDARY PLANNING

College Research

  • Finding the Best Fit College
  • Mentors 4 College - local, non-profit organization offering FREE post-secondary support for students and parents
  • Search for the Common Data Set for each school you are considering to find important data and information and help determine if the school is a good fit academically, socially and financially.  (Google Example: "Vanderbilt Common Data Set").  Learn more about Common Data Sets here.

  • College Visits/Fairs:
    1. If you are going to miss school for a campus visit, please inform your grade-level office of your absence.  The absence is coded as "CV" (College Visit) and is excused, but you are still responsible for the missed work.
    2. Lots of college admission representatives visit PCH - - sign up in SchooLinks to connect with them while they are in the building.  Instructions for registering are located here.
    3. If you would benefit from attending a college fair, there are several great opportunities in the fall. Sign up at StriveFair.
